I write bilingual,English/Spanish, children’s picture books for ages 5-8years old.I also write toddler books , bilingual, with educational matter in the back of all the books.I just published a chapter book for 8-10 year olds about a Ngäbe Panamanian girl who sneaks her pet iguana to school- chaos-Double Trouble on the Comarca!

BELONGING TO WRITER’S GROUPS/ORANIZATIONS
I belong to Children’s Book Insider and they offer courses on writing. They also provide webinars and annual conferences with tons of information. The owners print a monthly magazine which provides pertinent , up-to-date information regarding writing. Furthermore, a big plus is that they often have interviews with editors who then will give the reader a chance to submit so many pages, etc. for them to look at and give their opinion.The submission is above the slush pile, it pertains only to the subscribers of the magazine.The magazine is not expensive, it is connected with subscribing to their CBI organization.
